John Knights - LeaderShape and Oxfordshire Business First

John has a wealth of international business experience having lived abroad in Sweden, The Netherlands, Singapore and the USA for 15 years. He has completed business in over 50 countries across all continents. Before becoming an entrepreneur at the age of 40 from when he has started up eight technology and professional services companies, he was a senior corporate executive in the food, industrial and energy sectors, attaining the positions of Corporate VP in the US of a Fortune 100 company and Main Board Director of a FTSE 100 business.

His main claim to fame is that he left the UK alone and returned with four foreign women. His wife, and three daughters!

Today John is Chairman of LeaderShape Global, a business that shapes the best business leaders for the future, increasingly around the world. He is a thought-leading author and speaker on the subject of transpersonal leadership for the 21st Century.

John has served the Oxfordshire business community over the last 15 years in various voluntary roles as Chair of Oxfordshire Learning & Skill Partnership, Acting Chair of the Oxfordshire Branch of the Institute of Directors, and as a Director of the Oxfordshire Economic Partnership, Oxfordshire Innovation & Growth Team and currently Oxfordshire Business First. He is also a fellow of the RSA, a Freeman of the City of London and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Water Conservators.

Finally, he is one of 50 Oxfordshire Entrepreneurs featured in the new book “Just Like You” published by Oxfordshire Business First .
