Claire Snowdon – Expat Know How
Claire Snowdon is a British National and has extensive global experience; having lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and the Far East over a period of 20 years.
Claire developed her high-level business and management experience working in both the U.K and U.S retail and garment manufacturing sector. She has worked on multi-million dollar programmes for a Fortune 500 company in Portugal, Israel, Sri Lanka and as a Group Director based in Hong Kong, where she led a large team of associates, located in Hong Kong, China and Sri Lanka.
During her time overseas she worked as a senior executive managing change programmes and culturally diverse groups and has trained, placed and supported cross-functional teams across China, Egypt, Jordan, India, Indonesia, Madagascar, Maldives, Pakistan and Swaziland.
Claire returned to the UK and settled in Oxfordshire in 2009, where she has established Expat Know How, a relocation support and intercultural training business for global companies. The business specialises in cross-cultural and virtual working through the delivery of bespoke programs for individuals and teams.
Claire has a professional textile technology degree and is a certified cross-cultural trainer and international consultant
In 2014 Claire became an ECR Consultant for UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) and has been accredited to deliver the Export Communications Review, which helps companies improve communications with English and non-English speaking export markets and to trade successfully with overseas customers.
Claire is a Director of OIBC and is the UKTI liaison on the Steering Committee, she also supports the event hosting and is a speaker and expert panel facilitator.
